Why Nominated: Diego Mateo has been with THINK Together since 2nd grade. There is not one day that goes by without seeing him volunteering with a smile on his face. In dedicating over 14 hrs a week and over 157 hours of volunteer work this year, he is our top volunteer at our site. He is a young man that has developed over the years at Spurgeon Intermediate into a great leader. His trustworthiness, dedication, passion for volunteering, makes him an inspiration and a role model for our 8th graders.
