Honoree 2013 – John Petsas

Congrats to John Petsas for being honored as an outstanding
community volunteer!

Petsas_JohnName: John Petsas

Nominating Organization: Alzheimer’s Association

Honoree Category: Health

Why Nominated:  John came to the Association seeking support while caring for both his parents- not only did he get the support he needed, he also found a volunteer position where he could impact families, like his, who were living with Alzheimer’s.
|John has since become one of our most dedicated volunteers.  Although his days are busy caring for his mom and his father before he passed, he still plays a critical volunteer role at our Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  Whether its delivering lawn signs, making phone calls or welcoming guests at the Walks, John jumps at the chance to make an impact in  the fight against Alzheimer’s. It is with the support of volunteers like John we are able to reach thousands through our Walk to End Alzheimer’s, raising critical funds and awareness
towards our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.
|We are grateful for John’s hard work, devotion and compassion for families suffering the devastating effects of Alzheimer’s.

Please write a note of congratulations below!
