Congrats to Harry Humphries for being honored as an outstanding community volunteer!

Humphries_HarryName:  Harry Humphries

Nominating Organization:  Working Wardrobes

Honoree Category:  Human & Community

Why Nominated:  Harry Humphries began as an ordinary volunteer and – through his talents, network and passion – made an extraordinary impact! As a former U.S. Navy SEAL and local business owner, he saw the struggles that many of our veterans face when reentering the civilian world as well as the need to educate our employers about the benefits of hiring those who have written a blank check with their lives. He came to our organization -on a mission – to help our veterans find civilian employment with dignity.

With military-like devotion, he used his passion (and skill!) in developing a program to meet the needs of our multifaceted veteran community -VetNet, a safety net for Veterans. He’s brought key players to the table, assembled an advisory council, helped develop training curriculum and established multiple sources of program funding!

VetNet is now helping hundreds of veterans get back to work with dignity! It’s individuals like Harry who make an enormous contribution to the nonprofit world.

Please write a note of congratulations below!
