Honoree 2013 – Florence “Flo” Pach

Congrats to Florence “Flo” Pach for being honored as an outstanding community volunteer!

Patch_FloName:  Florence “Flo” Pach

Nominating Organization:  Huntington Beach Police Department

Honoree Category:  Law Enforcement

Why Nominated: Flo Pach has been a member of our RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) since 2000.  She has remained very active in the program all these years.  She goes on patrol conducting vacation house checks and removing illegally posted signs; assists at the main station front desk, and helps out at special events and school programs. Flo also assists monthly preparing labels, collating and assembling the HB Neighborhood Watch Newsletter for mailing and distribution. In addition, she keeps track of all the RSVP members – sending cards and healing wishes when someone is ill or recuperating from surgery.  She always finds time to bake cakes, cookies, etc. for all the police personnel. Some of the words used to describe Flo are kind-hearted, dedicated, hard working and always having a smile on her face.   It is an honor to have Florence Pach nominated as one of HBPD’s 2013 Spirit of Volunteerism Awards recipients.

Please write a note of congratulations below!
