  1. If we could bottle up Kristi’s compassion, dedication and work ethic in a bottle we would hold the formula for success! Kristi is here often after a long day at work to focus on tasks that aren’t as fun as some of the other tasks. She is dedicated to ensuring our shelter cats are ready for a good night’s rest by having clean boxes and full tummy’s, sealed with a loving scratch or evening chat. Her professionalism and team oriented habits make her a pleasure to work with. She epitomizes volunteerism to the core and we are very thankful she is part of the family!

  2. Kristi is truly dedicated to the cats here at the shelter. Her goal here is obvious: to care for, and enrich the cats’ stay here until they can find a new home. She is infintely helpful and compassionate. She’s a great resource.

  3. Kristi is an amazing help at the Irvine Animal Care Center. She is always helping with the closing duties and giving the cats some extra love and attention. Kristi always has a smile on her face and it is contagious among other volunteers and staff.

  4. Kristi’s gentleness and consistency have let our cats know they have a friend. No doubt that many have gone from marginal to adoptable with her care. We (cats and people) are lucky to have her here.

  5. We are so lucky to have Kristi as her daily devotion and care makes such a difference in our cat’s lives!

  6. Way to go, Kristi! I know how much you love those furry and fuzzy gifts from God, may you have many more years of service ahead of you!

  7. Kristi — thank you for all of the hours you put in with the cats. When I have a question regarding the personality or needs of a cat, you are always spot on with your information. I love the way you sit in the kennels to calm the kitties. And I love it that your idea of cooking is the same as mine — take out or dine out.

  8. Kristi is a wonderful person and I know she has always had great affection for God’s little creatures. So I am not at all surprised that she has earned this reward. She was my secretary for over 20 years. Thought I am not a cat, I can verify that she is kind and gentle with everything and everyone. 🙂 John Miller

  9. Kristi – we are so thankful for all that you do for our kitties. Your dedication is amazing. Seeing you come in during the evening always puts a smile on my face. I would imagine that the cats feel the exact same way. I hope you are with us for MANY more years to come. Our furry felines need you.
