Why Nominated: Tasha is one person who can truly make a difference in helping through dedication and commitment of her time. She has earned the respect and gratitude of those her volunteerism serves. Tasha has dedicated herself to 17 causes in 2013 and has completed over 118 hours of volunteer service in 2013 by tirelessly dedicating time to various charities and events throughout the Orange County Community. She even goes out of her way to motivate and encourage others to serve their community by recruiting and inspiring volunteers from her list of co-workers, friends and family. She is always looking for new charities to offer her time and assistance. Tasha is usually the first to volunteer for an event. In addition, has volunteered for CAPC at Families Helping Families and Special Olympics events for the last 3 years. She has been a tremendous support donating valuable volunteer hours to these very worthy organizations. While volunteering at CAPC and this year, she served as a Lead Volunteer providing support in multiple ways, from sorting and wrapping donations to making deliveries and distributing presents and also provided training and assistance to new volunteers. The director of the program recognized her as a key contributor to the event’s success.
