Why Nominated: Catherine Humphries is our biggest volunteer advocate in the community. She is the epitome of a skilled networker who opens doors and cultivates relationships with key supporters. Her unwavering passion for Veteran services has given life to our VetNet program over the three years she has been volunteering. She is the visionary behind our VetNet Nite fundraiser that first debuted in October 2012 and is currently scheduled for June 21, 2014. Catherine serves as the chair of the VetNet Nite planning committee and has been hands-on with every aspect of the event. She donated upwards of 15 hours per week of her time. In addition, Catherine and her husband Harry have opened doors among highly influential supporters like Jerry and Linda Bruckheimer and First Sergeant Matt Eversmann (Ret.). With the upmost grace and humility, Catherine is an invaluable volunteer advocate for Working Wardrobes and the VetNet program.
