Organization: AIDS Services Foundation
Since Roya Cole became an active volunteer in 2000, her support for AIDS Services Foundation of Orange County (ASF) has been invaluable. As a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley, Cole was able to introduce her colleagues to ASF’s mission and under her leadership Morgan Stanley has consistently been one of the top corporate teams in the annual AIDS Walk Orange County. Individually, she has been one of the top five fundraisers for the Walk since 2012. Thanks to a mix of her enthusiasm and persistence for the cause, just in 2014 alone Cole was responsible for raising over $25,000 for the clients of ASF. This money goes directly to help fund critically important programs including food pantry, transportation, housing, emergency financial assistance, mental health counseling, kids & family programs, support groups, and HIV education & preventions services. To excel even further, Cole has also been volunteering in ASF’s food pantry which processes over 6,000 food orders annually for individuals affected by HIV / AIDS in Orange County. Finally, in 2014 Cole was given the opportunity to serve on ASF’s Board of Directors bringing along her passion, motivation and dedication for ASF’s clients. Her tireless energy has been instrumental with the growth of ASF and they look forward to many more years of friendship and collaboration.
Organization: Laguna Beach Community Clinic
Joining the Board of Laguna Beach Community Clinic in 2008, Roya Cole inspires us to fulfill our mission.
We deliver excellent medical care to those in need, regardless of their ability to pay. We couldn’t do it without Roya. While having achieved great success in the financial world, Roya remembers her early struggles and has true empathy for our patients. She served as Clinic President for two years and continues on our Finance Committee.
Her generosity of time and money is well known and she has been instrumental in the Clinic’s sustainability. We are honored to nominate Roya for this well-deserved award.

Organization: Olive Crest
Roya Cole, Executive Director, Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley in Newport Beach, has a long history of support for the children and families of Olive Crest. She began her involvement in 2006 and has directly served as a volunteer mentor for our youth. She and Morgan Stanley sponsored the inaugural Power of One event, which recognizes the ability of one person to make a difference in the lives of others, and have continued to sponsor each year. Roya’s inspirational story of being on her own at the age of sixteen is the basis of her interest and support for Olive Crest’s Project Independence and Transitional Housing Programs. Numerous Morgan Stanley advisors have also volunteered with Olive Crest, due in part to her influence. Roya has a heart for at-risk children and Olive Crest is proud to recognize her partnership with us and her devotion to those in our care.
