Why Nominated: An esteemed Attorney at Law with Nossaman LLP, Veronica Gray has a long and impressive history of advocating for girls and supporting Girl Scouts of Orange County in achieving its mission of creating the best leadership development experiences for all girls in Orange County. She has been a Member-at-Large on Girl Scouts of Orange County’s Board of Directors since 2009 and was 2nd Vice Chair on the Board from 2011-2013. Since 2011, Veronica has served on the Executive Committee of the Board where she provides exceptional insight and expertise on a wide breath of council matters. A strong advocate of Girl Scouting, Veronica served on GSOC’s Mission Advocacy task group in 2011 and has continued to elevate the community’s awareness of Girl Scouts as a leadership development organization as Chair and Co-Chair of Voice for Girls since its inception in 2012. Voice for Girls is an annual forum focused on bringing community leaders together to pave the way for girls’ leadership development. And this year, Veronica is also serving on the newly developed Fund Development Board Committee to further pave the way for more girls to achieve their dreams and lead our future.
Veronica Gray has certainly gone well above and beyond her role as a Member-at-Large on GSOC’s BOD. Additional roles include: Past 2nd Vice Chair of the GSOC BOD; Executive Committee Member of the GSOC BOD (2011 to current); Mission Advocacy Task Group Member; Chair and Co-Chair of Voice for Girls since its inception in 2012; participation in GSOC girl recognition events, and more.
