This is a team of young professionals who ask for non-profit applications to review. They look for non-profits that need help with logos, marketing, website, videos and social media.

Once the non-profit is chosen they plan and execute a 54 hour weekend where all the work is done. Things that normally take months are produced- an amazing transformation happens for the chosen non-profit. They are given tools to become more successful. The products (websites, videos, marketing) that comes from this powerful weekend are amazing. This group of young professionals are so giving and so amazing- they deserve HUGE recognition.

The 2014 Forge 54 skilled giving weekend took place September 12th – 14th in downtown Santa Ana. During this weekend young marketing professionals and students worked together to donate marketing services to Playworks So Cal, a local non-profit in need of marketing help. Everyone involved donated their time, skills, equipment and creativity at zero cost to Playworks. Below is what was created in just 54 hours by the amazing team called Forge 54.

Everything this organization does is from the heart. They selflessly come together and use their collective talent to delivery an unequivocal amount of effort all for the sake of helping other non-profit grown their organization’s presence and elevate their staff’s ability to continue that growth. I’ve never seen anything at this scale like this before.

Momentum Dance Center

Forge 54 helps other non-profit organizations in need by providing the with materials to help them take their organization to the next level. This unique giving experience is provided by Forge 54 and it’s volunteers, who are experts in their industries, so that another organization can acquire free services that would normally cost thousands of dollars. Forge 54 is a group of individuals who all share the same goal of helping someone in need and using their skills to help others.

Playworks Southern California

Over 2.5 days, rapid progress was made as the clock counted down the 54 hours. Each team aggressively tackled their own tasks while supporting other teams with common goals, an overarching achievement of establishing a mobile app, new micro site, social and PR plans, video campaigns, and more was set!

By the end of the challenging yet satisfying experience, a final $308,500 in deliverables was accounted for.
