Why Nominated:  The effort exhibited by this team of Special Olympics “champions” helped us achieve record breaking engagement by Edwards’ employees at the Special Olympics Southern California Summer Games. Given the invitational games were staged at USC in preparation for World Games 2015, this involved significant recruitment and coordination to ensure that 450 volunteers were registered and transported to USC. In addition to the “champions” mobilizing a hisorical number of volunteers, they also participated in a “team building” volunteer activity by serving meals to hundreds of athletes on opening day of the Summer Games. The relentless effort and support this team exhibited not only provided great program leadership and support but set an example of how a committed, motivated group of volunteers could influence and motivate interest among their co-workers. Thanks to all of the Special Olympics Champions, we could not have accomplished such a significant volunteer effort without YOU!

Please write a note of congratulations below!
