Nominating Organization:  Youth-on-the-Move Education International

Honoree Category:  Education

Why Nominated:  These volunteers unselfishly donated hundred of hours to making our event (International Educators’ Hall of Fame) a success with over 400 hundred people in attendance. It was the first of such events to be held in Orange County by Youth-on-the-Move International Educators Hall of Fame. It was held on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at Chapman University.

They:

1. helped advertise the event
2. helped select the educators to be inducted
3. created the invitation, flyers and website (educatorshalloffame.org) for the event
4. met each week for 16 weeks to plan and monitor the progress of the event 5. wrote and edited the biographical write-ups of each inductee
6. solicited sponsors and advertisements for the event
7. planned and executed a red-carpet event for 21 humanitarian educators inductees and 6 community servants
8. they performed as Em Cees for the event
9. 25 youth sang at the event
10. 20 Native American Indian children performed with their “Eagles” to mention a few of the activities of the volunteers.
