Habitat for Humanity of Orange County
QBE North America is a global insurance company who will do all they can to find a way of saying “yes”. They have indeed said “yes” to supporting Habitat for Humanity of Orange County’s mission to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live! QBE committed to be a Whole House Sponsor for one of the Habitat homes in a new development in Santa Ana. Their generous gift will help build a home from foundation to landscape for a hard working family, who otherwise would not be able to achieve the dream of homeownership.
The foundation funds charities-nominated by their employees-dedicated to helping people overcome disadvantages, strengthen their abilities and live more independently, successfully and productively. The company also allows paid time off for employees to be involved in volunteer activities.
With two offices here in Irvine, QBE has made the commitment to send their employees out on a regular basis to roll up their sleeves and help build the Santa Ana home. Their core volunteer team, headed by Lori Irving, has gone above and beyond to partner with Habitat OC in making their volunteer days run smoothly with weekly communication, supporting and encouraging their associates, as well as putting in the hard work of construction each day! Their enthusiasm, heart, and hard work truly is inspirational and worthy of recognition. Thank you QBE for being one of Habitat OC’s great champions and making dreams come true!
